This is Mac, a 2 year old lemur. I met him at my local fish store - managed to get out of the store without buying any more bettas and no, didn't take Mac home either! :)

Day 24

One of the bettas hiding behind his Marimo ball (Japanese moss ball). They look like Tribbles from the old Star Trek episodes!! Yes, they're a real plant! You have to roll it around every couple of days so they don't collaps on themselves. This particular betta likes to use his as a pillow - he leans against it when he's resting and his fins kind of drape over the moss ball. Weirdo! :)

Squirrel condos - dh fills them with peanuts, alfalfa pellets and bird seed. These are the busiest places in the neighborhood most days!

A little blurry, but this is one of my new Siamese Fighting fish - the raggedy fins are normal, he's what they call a 'Crowntail'. Go figure! :)

This is Hyde's buddy Zeke. I think he's a male, but not testing that theory and don't really care. I just know they're too cute for words!!!

Day 4 - Hyde

Hyde is one of our leopard geckos. She cohabitates with Zeke (get it? Hyde & Zeke?! LOL). Coolest lizards ever! We also have Dot & Dash, who are much more outgoing. Maybe more gecko pics this week! :)

I hate snow - oh yeah, it's all beautiful and romantic when it's falling in great big fluffy flakes, but get over it!! LOL THIS is the real snow - ugly, dirty, messy, time for this stuff to GO!! Melting always takes longer than falling!!

George - the kitchen iquana. She lives in my kitchen, in an 8ft tall by 4 ft wide humongous cage. She is almost 4 ft long, and has a LONG way to go before she's full grown. thankfully she eats fruits and vegetables, not cats, dogs, or birds!! Now, the hallway iguana (Mr. Wong) would eat people if we let him!! Evil beast! :)
