This is Mac, a 2 year old lemur. I met him at my local fish store - managed to get out of the store without buying any more bettas and no, didn't take Mac home either! :)

Looking WAY up from the base of a big old tree!! Of course, this is what I look forward to when the winter is gone and spring and summer are upon us! :)

Day 24

One of the bettas hiding behind his Marimo ball (Japanese moss ball). They look like Tribbles from the old Star Trek episodes!! Yes, they're a real plant! You have to roll it around every couple of days so they don't collaps on themselves. This particular betta likes to use his as a pillow - he leans against it when he's resting and his fins kind of drape over the moss ball. Weirdo! :)
